My stay at Best Western Plus Schwarzwald Residenz was delightful. The spacious Comfort Double Room featured a lovely balcony with a breathtaking view of Triberg. The breakfast offers a delightful spread of options, including fresh local cheeses and pastries, making each morning special.

Parking spots were a bit cramped.

My room had plenty of space, and the large bathroom offered great functionality despite its smaller size. A fan was provided since there’s no air conditioning, which helped keep the room comfortable. The breakfast spread was exceptional, with a variety ranging from fresh pastries to meats and cheeses – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel is pet-friendly, perfect for travelers with furry companions. On the downside, the stair access to my room required lugging luggage up eight steps. The lack of air conditioning made the warm days a bit stifling. Additionally, it would be nice if the parking situation was improved, as it felt a bit cramped. Still, I appreciate the friendly staff who were always ready to help with local recommendations.
